Grids
Grids help you keep your Dashboard clean and organised by grouping Sensors and Links together. Instead of managing every Sensor and Link individually on the map, you can assign them to a Grid to control what appears on your Dashboard at any given time. This page walks you through the Grids menu, how to create a new Grid, and what you can configure in the Grid Settings tab.
Grids Menu
The Grids menu shows a list of all the Grids you've created, along with key details for each - including the Grid's Name, Number of Links, Number of Routes, Time Created, and Time Updated. You can also see at a glance whether each Grid is currently active or inactive.
To view more details about a specific Grid, click its name or the corresponding row in the table.
Create a Grid
To create a new Grid:
- Go to Grids > Create.
- Enter a Name for the Grid.
- Depending on your account type, you'll see different options:
- Sensor users: Select the Sensors and Links you want to include, either from the dropdown menu or by clicking directly on the map.
- Crowdsourced data users: Select the Links you want to include, either from the dropdown menu or by clicking directly on the map.
- Click Save.
Grid Settings Tab
Once a Grid has been created, you can manage its configuration from the Grid Settings tab. From here, you can:
- Edit the Grid Name.
- Add or remove Sensors and/or Links from the Grid.
- Activate or Deactivate the Grid. Only active Grids appear on the Dashboard map.
- Delete the Grid.
