Credit Calculation
In the TMC module, credits are calculated based on the number of intersections analyzed and the number of date ranges selected.
Each unique combination of an intersection and a date range counts as one credit.
How It Works
To determine the total number of credits required:
- Intersections refer to each location where turning movement counts are generated
- Date ranges refer to each distinct time period selected (e.g., a single day, a weekday average, or a weekend average)
Example
If a study includes:
- 1 intersection
- 2 date ranges (e.g., weekday and weekend)
Then:
Additional Notes
- Selecting multiple date ranges (e.g., splitting weekday and weekend) will increase the total credit count
- Each intersection is counted independently, even if they are part of the same corridor
- Time granularity (e.g., 15-minute vs hourly intervals) does not affect credit usage
